12 Things Men Do That Make Women Fall Deeper in Love

Men — we love them. Like really, really love them. We can’t live without them and we certainly don’t want to. We enjoy all of the little things they do that make them so much hotter. Here are 12 things men do that women really adore.

1. Planning is amazing.

When a man plans, it’s almost as exciting as him proposing. Whether he organizes a date, a weekend trip, an afternoon walk — really, anything — we’re happy. It shows us that you’re capable of putting effort into us and you like it. Actually, you really, really like it.

2. Being a great listener.

Showing a woman that you’re a great listener is oh, so incredible. Remembering things that we mentioned we like is so cool. Whether it’s flowers, a book, chocolates or jewelry, if you surprise us with it, we feel really special!

3. Show us some vulnerability.

It’s extraordinary when a man can openly and honestly talk about his feelings with you. When he’s comfortable doing so, it’s great. It’s so great it’s like winning the emotional lottery.

4. Please us in the bedroom.

When a man can make it happen for you, how elated are you? It’s so exciting it’s almost like winning a tournament. A man who wants to pleasure you, so you really enjoy yourself, well, now that’s how I define a good man. He gets an extra applause if it’s from something he doesn’t ordinarily like doing.

5. Cook for us.

When a man knows his way around the kitchen and is capable and confident, it’s so cute. I’m a sucker for the look on his face when he means business with those vegetables. Cooking takes patience and shows us that you’re cherish-worthy.

6. Let’s go shopping.

Let’s face it, sports are a popular hobby for most men. Well, shopping is a favorite pastime of many women. Shopping is to women what sports is to men. Shopping may not be good for women’s wallets (or their man’s!), and it certainly isn’t cardio, but it absolutely is fun. When a man can shop with you and give his opinion, he’s golden.

7. It’s okay to be nerdy.

Am I the only woman who not so secretly thinks it’s really endearing when a man is curled up on his couch with his book? When he gets all geeked out and excited about something he’s reading and he’s not ashamed of it, it’s pretty adorable.

8. Compromise is key.

How many times has your man done something he doesn’t want to because you asked him to? When a man does something for us that he wouldn’t ordinarily want to do, it makes our hearts melt. Being sweet and thoughtful always goes a long way. We so appreciate you doing something you’re not eager to do.

9. Get all sporty.

It’s nice to see men fired up and passionate about sports. In fact, it’s oddly exciting. When you’re roaring at the TV and getting all riled up — it’s almost erotic. When your eyes light up, you become quite desirable.

10. Kiss and caress us.

Being affectionate and sweet to us goes a long way. When you’re sweet to us — whether you put your arm around us when we’re not expecting it, hold our hand just because, or give us an excited kiss for no reason — our hearts skip a beat.

11. Love our family.

Some people (me included!) have an unusual family. But, your family is your family and so you love them a lot. When your man gets in close with your family and makes all family members love him, he’s extra fabulous.

12. It’s okay to be dominating.

Dominating us makes us sizzle in all the right places. Every woman wants a little Fifty Shades of Grey in her life. There’s a time and a place to make love, and there’s a time and a place to be more aggressive. When you know the difference, you make us swoon.

Turkey evacuates town amid anti-IS Syria campaign

Turkey has ordered residents in the town of Karkamis to evacuate after it was hit by mortars from so-called Islamic State militants in Syria.

Karkamis lies just across the border from Jarablus, an IS-held town which Turkish-backed rebels are expected to try to capture in the coming days.
A rebel force is massed in the area and preparing the offensive.
Turkey blames IS for a bomb attack that killed dozens of people in the south of the country at the weekend.
It says the group must now be cleared from the border region, and has been bombarding targets across the border in northern Syria ahead of an expected ground attack.
Turkey's increasing entanglement in Syria's war has added to the strain on its administration and security services following an attempted coup in mid-July.
It accused Fethullah Gulen of masterminding the attempted overthrow from his US home and has dismissed or detained thousands of the cleric's alleged followers. Mr Gulen denies any involvement.

On Tuesday, US officials confirmed they had received an extradition request for the cleric - and but they said it was on grounds of alleged crimes unrelated to the coup bid, though they did not clarify.

Loudpeaker order

The BBC's Mark Lowen says the decision to evacuate Karkamis is not necessarily a sign that a ground operation is imminent, but a response to the shelling by jihadists.
The evacuation order came by loudspeaker, and minibuses were sent in to transport those without cars, he says.
As well as IS forces, Turkey has shelled Syrian Kurdish forces nearby, apparently to deter them from taking Jarablus themselves.
Fifty-four people were killed when the southern city of Gaziantep was hit by a suicide bombing on Saturday.
Our correspondent says the attack on a wedding in the city, blamed on IS, may have been spurred by reports of the imminent Syrian rebel offensive.

More victims of the blast are being identified and our correspondent says the wave of bombings in Turkey could intensify as the country becomes ever more embroiled in the Syrian war.

Airlander 10: Maiden flight at last for longest aircraft

The maiden flight of the world's longest aircraft has begun - after a previous attempt was abandoned at the last minute.

The Airlander 10 - which is part plane and part airship - took off from Cardington Airfield in Bedfordshire.
Its original test flight on Sunday was postponed, but it finally left the ground at 19:40 BST.
The £25m aircraft measures 302ft (92m) long and is about 50ft (15m) longer than the biggest passenger jets.

Sunday's attempt was dropped because of a "technical issue" which could not be resolved in time for a daylight flight.
The airship is not allowed to fly at night during the test stage.

Christened the Martha Gwyn, the aircraft was first developed for the US government as a surveillance aircraft but the project was shelved amid defence cutbacks.
British firm Hybrid Air Vehicles (HAV) launched a campaign to return the Airlander 10 to the skies in May 2015.

The huge aircraft will be able to stay airborne for around five days during manned flights.
HAV claims it could be used for a variety of functions such as surveillance, communications, delivering aid and even passenger travel.

The company hopes to be building 10 Airlanders a year by 2021.
The Airlander 10 was launched from Cardington Sheds, a Grade II-listed relic of World War One which housed airships in the 1920s.

Record California Wildfire Caused By Wiring On Hot Tub, Investigators Find

Faulty wiring on a hot tub caused California's third-most-destructive wildfire, which left four people dead and destroyed more than 1,300 homes last year, California fire authorities say.
The Valley Fire burned 76,067 acres in the state's northern Sonoma, Lake, and Napa counties last September. On Wednesday, investigators with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection revealed that a hot tub installed on a residential property in Cobb was the likely cause.
According to the agency's report, a copper wire overheated and sparked nearby brush. Investigators found that wiring on the hot tub was not up to building codes and a permit for a structure housing the hot tub made no mention of any electrical work.
Homeowner John Pinch reportedly admitted to investigators that he installed the circuit. The San Francisco Chronicle says investigators concluded Pinch's actions "amounted to a misdemeanor, negligently starting a fire, and a building code violation for not having proper permits." The Chronicle further reports it's now up to prosecutors whether to file charges:

"Lake County District Attorney Don Anderson, who learned only Wednesday of the state's findings, said he'll now look into whether a crime was committed and whether arrests would be made.
" 'First thing in the morning, I'll be turning this over to my investigative staff,' he said.
"Earlier Wednesday, before the results of the probe were made public, one owner of the home with the alleged electrical problem told The Chronicle that his property was not the cause of the fire, but that his two-story house had suffered minor damage — and that a toolshed near the alleged origin had burned.
" 'That shed was the victim of the fire,' said Parker Mills, who noted that when the blaze started no one was at the property on High Valley Road, a rural area marked by grassy hills and oak forest."

“In that period, my father was very tough – and especially with me. He wouldn't shout at the other kids. He would just shout at me and the other players would ask me why?
“My team-mates would say 'you haven't made a mistake. Why always you?' It was because I was his son.”

Some of his father's methods have rubbed off and Conte can often be heard shouting at his Chelsea players in training and during games.
However, Conte stresses that he doesn't want to destroy the morale of the squad, but is trying to forge a special bond.
He added: “For me, it’s not right to get angry. I always have an intensive relationship with my players, very strong, a great link, great passion with my players.

"Sometimes during the game and training session it can happen that I can shout at them for one situation but then we’re finished. And I shout only to improve the situation.
"When the player understand this sometimes he might be happy because: ‘Oh, the Mister looks at me and wants to help me.’ Despite the shouts.

Comic-Con in San Diego on Thursday (July 21) got a glimpse into Rihanna's future and it seems she'll look as good as ever in the 28th century.

The preview was a sneak peek of Luc Besson's upcoming sci-fi film, Valerian and The City of a Thousand Planets, based on the French comic series Valérian and Laureline, which stars Dane DeHaan and Cara Delevingne as interstellar special agents. And, yup, Rihanna's in it too, playing a dancer in an alien bar run by Ethan Hawke.
The chart-topping singer's introduction came when DeHaan requests a "retro" girl at Hawke's club and is sat down for a private show as a bowler-wearing dancer appears on stage, straddling a chair, Vulture reports.

But by all means, it was only a tease and the video cut before things could really heat up. But according to DeHaan, Rihanna's role is apparently jaw dropping. Valerian is due out next summer.
